But until then this is for those of you who wanted to see the wall that crashed ever so close to me last Wednesday.

As you can see no one has even attempted to mover or pick up any of the cinder blocks that block half of there driveway. I'm willing to bet that come June it will still be as seen above, maybe the winter will help the rest to fall as well. :)
On another note Christmas is now less than a week away and this years could be very white trash as gift giving goes. ;)

So I was feeling a bit *off* before we took off for our trip to FLA. Things like pumping gas, and brushing my teeth were making me gag, I was experiencing extreme fatigue....so I finally gave in and got a pregnancy test. Not one of those plus minus ones either, the expensive digital one. Sure enough 3 seconds after I peed on the stick it said in plain black letters "pregnant".
I must say I was shocked. It took us almost a year to get preggo with Kia and we had to really work on it. After Dr. Prieb gave me the reality talk of my age etc. I thought surely that it would take a while if it happened at best. Plus I am nursing. Here we are.
At this point I am suffering terrible morning sickness so its difficult to get excited about it. Basically I am simply shocked.
It made for quite a challenge during our trip to FLA. I had every intention of looking up old friends I found on Facebook, showing Ken around, spending quality time with my cousins. I could barely get up off the sofa in my morning sickness misery. It seemed the heat and busy activity of St. Petersburg just made me more nauceous.
Even so had a chance to see family. Spent a beautiful afternoon at Sunken Gardens with Lili, Stacy and little Kailey Bella. And a rare occasion to spend my twin cousins birthdays together, Lisa Hood was great, she came down from Orlando to hang out with my in my misery *twice*. John was too, he came over from Tampa to at least have lunch and catch up. Granted we didn't even make it to Ft. Desoto, Lowry Zoo, Bush Gardens, or Sea World as I had hoped, but managed to make a trip to The FLorida Aquarium with Ken and Kia loved watching the people more than the fishes.
What was really the best was a chance for mom to spend time with Kia. It worked out great, her friend had a condo right next door that she keeps for friends and family. So we were close. I was able to 'drop' Kia off in the morning so Mom and Francisca could feed Kia breakfast. Then again at night. So they had a chance to really spend some quality time with Kia. Mom was great and I am grateful for her cooking breakfast and taking such great care of us.
Oh and get this, we came home to over 2 ft of snow in Colorado. It was up to our knees getting into the house!

A little catch up here! Before we left for Florida I had a chance to ride with Aurora and Ivy in Arboles. Great day, its amazing to be riding in late November. We were greeted with lots of horses in the various pastures along the county road. Made it to Navajo lake, ate a little lunch, and it got a little late in the day so Aurora and I ran the whole way back home. Didn't know I was pregnant then! I forgot to bring my camera but luckily Aurora snapped a few with her camera........

I on the other hand still needed to complete the days stops. I have been running this business for 15 years now and I still dread the cold pre-winter rain day. After about 5 hours outside in a down pour there are few things that will get rid of the chill in your bones.
I'm not here to BITCH about the weather, but to tell you all of a close call with a tumbling concrete wall. I was walking a very energetic chocolate lab down his steep driveway *still an inch deep in slush* Soon the inevitable hydroplane of man and dog happened. I put my hand out to grab a concrete wall to stop our slide and instead of bringing us to a stop the wall came tumbling down like it was made of sand. The large cinder blocks missed the woof and myself and I was blown away to notice that the rest of the wall that connected to the house looked like it would like to just give out as well. *Who ever said my Job is not full of danger and excitement.* So that's the big event for today. I will add that owner of the house seemed unfazed by the crumbling of there foundation. As for me, everyday I visit this place from now on I will wonder if it will be the day that the foundation just gives way. Maybe they will call there home owners Insurance and get the thing fixed. I can only hope.
